Episode 10 - Faith in the Fire: Take Heart! God Will Do What He Said He Would Do

Are you feeling discouraged, confused, or flat-out stunned by the happenings in the world today? Many people are questioning what is true, and what is real. What is God doing, anyway? Is this a time to give up or to stand firmly on God's promises? When faith is tested in the fire of circumstances—like right now—God has a purpose:

"These (trials) have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." (1 Peter 1:7 ESV)

God gives Biblical promises that are as sure today as they were in the beginning of time. When our faith is shaken, choose to stand firmly on those promises. Don't be swept away in a sea of deception! God's Word and His promises are true... no matter the current circumstances!

In this episode, we will talk about ways to hear what God is speaking to us today. Yes, He is speaking, but are we listening? Now more than ever, we need to get quiet, lean in and listen to God. I suspect we are going to be amazed when He reveals what He has been doing.

I share a Biblical story of a great hero of the faith at a time when things didn't go the way he was hoping. (Spoiler alert: the victory came in God's perfect time anyway.)

Finally, I share an example of a dream that God gave me last week. As I do, I walk you through the process of what I did to understand God's message in it.
